Owner and Instructor Michelle LaFleur has been involved with horses in one way or another since childhood. She started out showing her ranch bred pony, Chiquita, in 4-H as a Western rider. In college she expanded her experience by learning Dressage (classic form of riding). As an adult, she added Carriage driving to her repertoire. Currently she is an Advanced Level Therapeutic Riding Instructor certified through PATH (Professional Assoc. of Therapeutic Horsemanship, Intl) as well as a Lead Evaluator for Registered and Advanced level Certification testing. She was employed at Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center for eleven years during which time she was the Equine Coordinator as well as an instructor. She has had her own facility since 2006. Most recently, she attended a clinic hosted by the Western Dressage Association of America called Train the Trainers to further enhance her skills in the up and coming discipline of Western Dressage.

Sandy Ross began her love of horse with riding lessons starting at age seven. Unable to own a horse during her teen years, she made sure she was always around horses by introducing herself to area barns where she worked for the privilege to ride. As an adult she was able to purchase her own horse and began a steady, educationally filled journey to becoming a knowledgeable equestrian. When Sandy and her husband gave birth to a son with Autism, her future in Therapeutic Riding began. She volunteered with Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center outside of Colorado Springs for about a year-and-a-half before relocating to the Longmont area. Once here, she became involved with a local therapy program, which is where she met Michelle. After several years of being involved, Michelle extended Sandy an invitation to join her as a substitute instructor. Sandy feels it is an awesome fit for her life.
